This limited release of just 11 barrels celebrates our legacy of No. 1 awards, including “#1 Spirit, 99 points” and “Best Bourbon.” "That’s you, that’s me, that’s the winner, the champion, the top dog, the number one in us all. BHAKTA has won more No. 1 awards than just about anyone over the past few years, most especially No. 1 Spirit in the World." Deep golden-orange in hue, this bourbon offers aromas of vanilla fudge, caramel, and smoky oak, leading to a palate of dark brown sugar, burnt caramel, and a hint of lemon zest on the finish. Every BHAKTA bottle carries a year, not an age statement. The spirit inside was distilled in a single harvest, laid down in oak, and left to the slow work of Gascon cellars until it was ready — decades later — to be bottled exactly as it came out of the cask.
