Every BHAKTA bottle carries a year, not an age statement. This one was distilled from a single harvest in 2000, laid down in oak, and left to the slow work of Gascon cellars until it was ready, years later, to be bottled exactly as it came out of the cask.

Tasting Notes

Aspect Bright orange, lovely viscosity on the glass.

Nose Bright, fresh, and clean. Caramel and vanilla with candied orange and walnuts. Patisserie notes like toasted brioche with butter. Creamy rice pudding and creme caramel with a little cinnamon and nutmeg.

Palate Very clean and fresh approach with bright peppery spice, candied orange and vanilla. Light oak that is well integrated and mellow. Long, fruity, and juicy finish that is quite mouthwatering.
